Who We Are
Buvette Pacey is a labour of love between the owner, her dog, and the places she's lived. Born into the restaurant industry in Montreal and having spent several years organizing events in small locales around Amsterdam, owner Shabri Kapoor designed BP to mimic the laid-back ambiance found in many Montreal establishments, while incorporating the understated-but-vibey atmosphere found in many Dutch (and generally European) wine bars.
Being from the Little Burgundy neighbourhood of Montreal, the goal with Buvette Pacey is equally to promote diversity within the industry and challenge the norms that too often dictate what constitutes a high-end establishment and who can feel comfortable within these types of spaces.
Bref, as a team - with Bar Manager, Katherine Garcia, at the helm - we consider ourselves a queer-women-of-colour-run establishment that prides itself on being experts in our craft, without any of the pretension or gatekeeping.

Our Philosophy
The aim of Buvette Pacey is to provide a neighbourhood "local" with a distinctly Montreal flare. The kind of place that's open all day, feels familial and genuine, and still offers elevated products chosen with intention. We try our best to partner with local & mostly POC-owned businesses for everything from our espresso beans to our bar snacks!
We believe strongly in the idea that fine-dining quality can be achieved in even the most whimsical of spaces (in our case, with the soft pitter-patter of Pacey, our ̶L̶o̶r̶d̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶S̶a̶v̶i̶o̶u̶r̶ CEO and mascot, prancing to greet guests).
Dog Policy
Wondering if your four-legged friends are allowed to join you inside?
For takeout orders or patio seating, your furry friend may accompany you as long as they are well-behaved and on-leash.
Indoor seating: While you may often see Pacey strutting around our space, he is the only pup who is “officially” allowed inside & off-leash. In all other cases, dogs are allowed entry on a case-by-case basis, and may be refused at any time/for any reason (regardless of whether they’re a repeat customer!). Any dog entering our space must be on leash at all times & on their best behaviour.
